1967 Elizabeth II British Half Crown.
The 1967 half crown was a denomination of British money worth two shillings and sixpence. The 1967 half crown metal is cupro-nickel.
Obverse
The obverse was engraved by the sculptor Mary Gillick. In keeping with tradition Elizabeth's portrait faces to the right, in the opposite direction to her predecessor. Elizabeth's portrait depicts her wearing a Laureate (A Crown of leafs).
Reverse
The reverse design was designed by Edgar Fuller and Cecil Thomas. The reverse picture was of a crowned shield with the Royal Arms on it with an large E to the left of the shield and a large R to the right.
